“Just start,” my mind said, speaking almost indecipherable, almost drunk, almost nearby, like a familiar voice, but then again not.
“Start what?” I whispered, for some reason afraid of waking up something that I wasn’t quite sure of.
“You don’t know?”
“Not a clue. I’m not lying.'”
“Okay, let me show you something.”
Before me a piece of paper lay; blank, chilly emptiness.
“Right. And then what?”
“What do you mean?”
“Well, so I start. But then? Where do I go? And where do I end up?”
I could feel the restlessness creep into my mind. “Well, that is obvious, is it not?”
“So obvious that I am not seeing it.”
“You go where it went. And you end up where it took you.”
